The Overtuber is Citadel's interpretation of a classic tube driver pedal, designed to expand the tonal range by adding a high voltage ‘Boost’ mode. With Citadel's automatic bias topology, this pedal optimizes the performance of any preamp tube, delivering consistent harmonics and dynamics to the sound.
Gain
Control the amount of overdrive produced by the tube.
Bass
Control the amount of low frequencies.
Mid
Control the amount of mid frequencies.
Treble
Control the amount of high frequencies.
Volume
Control the output volume of the pedal.
Boost
Engage this mode to boost the plate voltage up to the levels more commonly used in tube amplifiers. With the boost mode disabled, the pedal operates in the classic starved plate mode.
Initial power state
Use the switch on the side of the pedal to choose whether the pedal starts engaged or bypassed when powered up.
