Planetary Phase is an analog 10-stage phase shifter based on a unique voltage controlled amplifier topology providing low noise and high dynamic range.
Rate
Adjust the speed of the sweep, spanning from 0.1 seconds to 10 seconds. An indicator between the rate and depth knobs displays the phase of the sweep.
Depth
Change the magnitude of the phaser sweep's excursion. Increasing it produces a deeper phasing effect.
Offset
Set the central frequency around which the sweep rotates, controlling which frequencies are impacted by the phaser, with lower settings focusing on the low frequencies and higher settings targeting the high frequencies.
Resonance
Adjust the intensity of the peaks and notches created by the phase shifter. Lower settings yield a subtle effect, whereas higher settings deliver a more pronounced ‘resonant’ sound.
Initial power state
Use the switch on the side of the pedal to choose whether the pedal starts engaged or bypassed when powered up.
Momentary mode
Use the switch on the side of the pedal to set the pedal into momentary mode. In this mode the effect is only applied while the footswitch is held, and bypassed when the footswitch is released.
