Particle Drive is an overdrive pedal designed to replicate the essence of a modern British high gain amplifier. The effective gain staging allows the pedal to deliver mild overdrives as well as full blown high gain tones. It combines distortion with the adaptive noise gate technology found on our Dynazero pedal.
Output
Control the output volume.
Gate
Adjust the threshold at which the gate opens, allowing signals above this level to pass through while attenuating or muting signals below it. The gate detector is placed before the distortion circuit.
Tone
Shape the high frequency response after the distortion circuit.
Gain
Set the amount of distortion.
Character
Choose between three distinct sounds characterized by varying degrees of scooping or thickening in the mids.
Initial power state
Use the switch on the side of the pedal to choose whether the pedal starts engaged or bypassed when powered up.
