We took the 5B and added our patented E-tip for durability and articulation of nylon with the dark, warm sound of wood. After years of experimentation Joe Calato realized that if less nylon hit the cymbal, the sound should change. The E-Series tip offers the drummer the longevity of nylon while producing a warmer, darker cymbal tone.
